At least once a week, I attempt to get out into nature. There’s something almost magical and definitely very calming about uncluttered spaces, away from most of the noise that surrounds being near other humans. Today I was able to borrow a Jeep Wrangler from West Mitsubishi to take me places a regular car should never go.

Today, I was in heaven. To be out in nature, in a Jeep, with a camera? Are you kidding? What better way to spend an afternoon?

This wrangler is equipped with a 2.0 liter, inline-4-cylinder, turbo charged engine. When I saw 2.0 in combination with 4-cylinder, I was skeptical about the power this truck would have. As it turns out, I had no need for worry! This Jeep can GET UP AND GO! And as I set the cruise control, I watched the gas mileage indicator. It really DOES get above 25 miles per gallon on the highway! That engine gives the best of both worlds: great fuel economy (especially for a truck) and plenty of power! And it’s still rated to pull 3,500 lbs! Learning that, visions of taking this thing out into the middle of nowhere, pulling an Airstream Basecamp 16x danced through my head!

At the time of writing, this truck was for sale. It has just a bit over 23,000 miles on the odometer. West Mitsubishi frequently has Wranglers in their inventory, however, so if this one is gone, they’ll likely have others that are very similar. The owner of the dealership is a big fan of putting custom, oversized wheels and tires on the trucks he sells, which is great! That way, you can finance one of the customizations most people would want to make, anyway. Just include it all in one loan.
